The ComputED Gazette is pleased to announce winners of its 22nd Annual Best Educational Software Awards. The Awards target innovative and content-rich programs (including apps for iPad and Android) and websites that provide parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence. Some selection criteria are academic content, technical merit, subject approach, and management system. Winners are selected from titles submitted by publishers worldwide. The BESSIES has had the distinction of previously being co-sponsored by the CBS-affiliate in San Diego (KFMB-TV). A list of last year's winners is available.
