Carol Lee was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, an area of mostly dairy farms.
In the late 1960's, she moved to Berkeley, CA where she worked for a photographer, doing darkroom developing.

Carol later moved to Hollywood, where she had the opportunity to be a location scout for independent studios in the film industry. She also owned a small cocktail lounge in Hollywood before moving to Oceanside in 1997.

An injury has caused Carol to be somewhat immobile. After investing in a fancy computer running Windows XP, Carol called on the ComputED staff for assistance in learning how to operate it.  Because of her new-found ability to communicate by e-mail and surf the Web, Carol states with enthusiasm, "The computer has brought new meaning into my life, and opened my world. I thank Joan for saving ME!!"

[Note from Joan: Carol is an "A" student, and a pleasure to work with. Her dog, Taj, is always curious.]
