A WORD FROM ALLISON P. OSTERN
As a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, I have worked primarily in the hospitality industry my entire career. First, I was a sales manager for Radisson Hotels International in Minneapolis, MN and Washington, DC. After Radisson, I joined Oakwood Corporate Housing, the nation's largest corporate housing company, as an Account Executive handling government accounts. My desire was to relocate to the West Coast, so I was promoted to an entertainment industry account executive. I had a wonderful experience working in Hollywood with accounts such as Warner Bros., Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Amblin Entertainment, Sony Pictures, NBC and many production companies. After relocating to San Diego to get married, I worked in Special Events planning conventions, incentive trips and national sales meetings for companies around the country.
I was fortunate to have an assistant in each of my jobs. I never had to worry about being computer literate until I decided to work with my husband in his sports marketing firm! I found myself at an extreme disadvantage being computer illiterate.
I had tried group classes, but did not find them beneficial. I searched and found ComputED Learning Lab. Joan Yap is an outstanding teacher with the patience of a saint! The personalized, hands-on training is superior. I am able to focus and concentrate in a relaxed environment. The instruction is very personalized, so you can work on the skills that you feel will best suit your own needs.
I can't say enough about ComputED.
