The ComputED Gazette is now accepting entries for its 21st Annual Education Software Review Awards (EDDIE Awards). The EDDIES recognizes innovative and content-rich software and websites that can be used by educators to augment the classroom curriculum and improve teacher productivity; or by parents for home-schooling and enrichment. Some selection criteria are academic content, potential for broad classroom use, technical merit, subject approach, and quality of management system. Software and website winners of previous awards, and older products that can compete in today's market, are accepted regardless of publication date.  Deadline for receipt of entries is August 19, 2016.

         Winners receive a digital EDDIES logo for promotional use, and up to ten winning entries are selected by our staff writers for inclusion in the Awards Showcase and expanded Reviews section. Electronic announcements are released to the press and to subscribers at educational newsgroups on the Internet. A list of last year's winners is available.

         Software and website publishers interested in participating are invited to submit entries in all academic levels/areas, including:

o Early Learning
o Early Elementary
o Upper Elementary
o Middle School
o High School
o Post-Secondary
o Internet Tools / Online Courses
o Educational Websites
o Teacher Productivity Tools
o Multi-Subject/Multi-Level

         Unlimited titles (Windows, websites, iOS or Android platforms) are accepted in any/all categories. A single entry fee of $675/per software publisher is required for submission of one entry. Add $400 for each additional entry. Please provide website access/logins if applicable. For products requiring 'difficult to ship' hardware, we will accept a DVD that demonstrates the full features of the program.

Credit card: Accepted only through PayPal.com. The payee to be credited is
editor@computedgazette.com. A $25 processing fee must be added (basic entry fee through PayPal is $700).
